I've spent over twenty years in the seat. Operating, building, buying, selling, hiring, making the hard calls, and figuring it out alongside founders doing the same. I've also been the one buried in my own business, doing more than I could keep up with. I found the way out. Now I hand it to other builders.

I have started, failed, and scaled more companies than most people will ever touch. I built and exited a multiple seven-figure e-commerce company, and founded a full-stack marketing, development, and advisory agency that drove tens of millions in revenue for its clients. I was brought in to help position a regional restoration company for its exit, stayed through the private equity roll-up, and helped integrate its acquisitions into what has become the largest non-franchise restoration company in the country, acquired by Morgan Stanley Capital Partners. Different industries, same job: drive real scale and revenue, or turn around organizations that have lost momentum. Growth and operations are where I go deepest. That's the school. It isn't a trophy case.

I started OpenCXO because I kept seeing the same problem. Founders with good businesses and real potential, stuck because they didn't have the bandwidth, the systems, or the right person to help them build what comes next. They'd hire consultants who handed over a deck and disappeared. They'd bring in specialists who solved one problem and missed or created three others.

So I built the thing I wish those founders and I had: an operator in the seat. It's like an open relationship, but for your business. Someone who sees the whole picture, builds the systems, puts AI to work, and takes the business to its next level. It begins with a 90-day sprint to prove the work, and it keeps going as long as it keeps delivering. No full-time hire, no equity ask, and you can end it any time.

I've been putting emerging technology to work inside real businesses for over two decades, and I build with AI every day, in my own ventures and in my clients' operations. AI isn't a service line. It's the leverage. It's how a small, sharp team does what used to take a department, and how a founder-led business gets the horsepower that used to be reserved for companies ten times its size.

I stay on the edge of what agentic AI and custom software can actually do inside an operating business, not for the novelty, but because that is where the real leverage is right now.
