We built the Business Scorecard to give founders a straight read on their business, not to collect their data. Here is exactly what we do with the information you share with us, in plain language.

What we collect

When you fill out the Business Scorecard, we collect your name, your email, and the answers and any free-text notes you write in response to the questions. When you browse the site more generally, we also run standard analytics, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, PostHog, and HubSpot tracking, to see in aggregate how people use it. That analytics layer never sees what you actually wrote in the Scorecard.

What we do with it

We use what you submit to generate your results, send you a copy by email, and follow up if it looks like we can help based on what you told us. That is the whole list. We are not building a profile on you beyond what it takes to do those three things.

What we never do

We do not sell your information. We do not rent it out. We do not hand it to third parties so they can market to you. And we do not use the specifics of your business, your numbers, your story, your problems, in a case study, a post, or anything public, without asking you first and hearing a yes.

Who else touches it

Producing your results takes more than a spreadsheet on our end. Your submission runs through OpenRouter, a third-party AI provider, to generate the analysis. Under the API terms we operate under, that provider processes your submission to produce your results and does not use it to train its models. Getting your results to your inbox and keeping our own client records straight runs through standard service providers built for those jobs, an email delivery service and a CRM. Nobody in that chain gets your information to use for their own purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep your information as long as it is useful to the relationship, whether that means a follow-up conversation next week or next year. If you want it gone, tell us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Email info@opencxo.com and ask for a copy of what we have on you, or ask us to delete it. We handle it directly. No portal, no ticket number, no runaround.

Cookies and analytics

The site runs Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, PostHog, and HubSpot tracking so we can see, in aggregate, how people move through it and where the Scorecard loses people. None of these tools see the answers you type into the Scorecard itself, only that you visited and what you clicked.
